Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: 2026-06-12
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
1. What affiliate links are
Some pages on Travel Card FX Fee Checker (https://fx-card.bordertriptools.com) contain affiliate links. If you click one of those links and make a purchase on the destination site, the owner of this site (José Manuel Volante González) may receive a commission from the seller. The commission is paid by the seller; it costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay. This disclosure is made in line with the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) and EU transparency rules (Directive 2005/29/EC).
2. Programmes we participate in
- Amazon Associates Programme (Amazon US / EU / UK): links to travel-money gear such as RFID-blocking card holders, money belts and document organizers on amazon.com and other Amazon marketplaces.
- Other affiliate programmes (Awin, CJ, direct partners) where indicated on the relevant page.
3. How this affects our content
Affiliate commissions fund the maintenance of this free tool. The FX fee calculations, card rankings and annual cost estimates are produced independently of affiliate programmes: the presence of an affiliate link does not alter the results or their ordering. We do not currently receive referral commissions from any of the card issuers compared (Revolut, Wise, N26, Curve or traditional banks).
4. How links are identified
Affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute in line with Google's guidelines and applicable transparency requirements, and a disclosure notice is shown next to the linked recommendations.
